StreamRail's Business logic
Automatic Optimization- When using the Automatic optimization, StreamRail ad manager provides the Requests and the Wins to each Ad Source, based on its performance. The Requests are then sent simultaneously to all the Ad Sources that are located within each tier.
Our algorithm scores the Ad Sources based on their performance and the chosen KPI:
Completion rate– scores the Ad Sources based on their Completion rate = Complete / Start
CTR– scores the Ad Sources based on their CTR = Clicks / Start
eCPM– scores the Ad Sources based on the following formula: Success rate * rate. This is the recommended KPI for player activity.
Fill Rate– scores the Ad Sources based on their Success rate which we believe will lead to a better Fill rate. This is the recommended KPI for network activity.
1. Success rate = Impressions / Wins
2. A small percentage of the traffic is sent to new Ad Sources without a score or to non-performing Ad Sources (with low Success rates). This is a part of the machine learning process of our business logic.
